Sequences BBa_J100261_sequence (Version 1)

Description

This part is a modified form of the rClone Red plasmid (part BBa_J119384) that replaced the GFP section flanked by BsaI sites with a theophylline riboswitch, labeled riboswitch C, by Golden Gate Assembly (GGA). In the presence of theophylline, the cells should fluoresce red. In the absence of theophylline, the cells should not fluoresce.

Source

The sequence for riboswitch C was taken from the Gallivan et al. paper "A family of synthetic riboswitches adopts a kinetic trapping mechanism." The rClone Red plasmid used in GGA is part BBa_J119384.
