Description

This assembly construct is part of the iGEM team Heidelberg 2014's intein toolbox. It allows for easy generation of translational units of the Npu DnaE C-intein flanked by N and C terminal POIs as described in RFC[???].
This part is very similar to BBa_K1362101 and BBa_K1362105 but provides a secondary Gate for the insertion of a protein or peptide of interest to the N-terminus of the intein. As no splicing occurs on that side of the Intein, the latter will stay with the intein after splicing. BBa_K1362106 is the complementary N-intein part.
