Description
This gene codes for MotB, a part of the flagellar motor. MotA and MotB constitute the stator and are required for the flow of ions and torque generation.Here we used 3 different constitutive Anderson promoters from the 2006 Berkeley group to test how different levels of constitutive motB expression affect the motility of E. coli.

- motB was amplified from genomic DNA of E. coli DH10B via PCR using the following primers:
- Fwd: 5'-gtttcttcgaattcgcggccgcttctagatgaagaatcaagcgcatcc-3'
- Rev: 5'-gtttcttcctgcagcggccgctactagtatcacctcggttcggctgatgg-3'
