Sequences BBa_K823015_sequence (Version 1)

Description

Pxyl is a promoter which is repressed by XylR. In presence of Xylose, XylR leaves the operator sequence and the Pxyl is active. XylR is present in most B. subtilis strains, so this would be a second copy of the gene.

XylR is provided with constittive promoter, RBS and terminator.

Notes

Inducible promoter, with its regulator.

Source

PCR with pXT as a template.
