Sequences BBa_J133421_sequence (Version 1)

Description

Translational terminator, is useful for ensuring that translation does not proceed through mRNA transcribed from this part in either the forward or reverse direction.

BBa_J133421-BBa_J133427 are 3-bit binary combinatorial variants of BBa_B0042: each bit is represented by a 4bp block of DNA stop codons in the forward or reverse orientation, where TTAG and CTAA represents 0 and 1 respectively. Careful selection and usage of translational terminator variants in a multipart device minimizes direct and inverted repeats in the final DNA construct.
