    Description

    This plasmid contains a promoter, ribosome binding site, and gene coding for the Dps-like peroxide resistance protein found in the bacterial pathogen Streptococcus suis.
    The dodecameric protein consists of 12 similar chains, each with 165 amino acid residues.

    Notes

    Note that the gene must iterate translation 12 times before the full protein may assemble.
