Description
This is the CDS for TycB1 module from the Tyrocidine gene cluster of Brevibacillus Parabrevis.It is the second module in this cluster for the NonRibosomalPeptide-Synthetase of the cyclic decamer Tyrocidine.
This specific module TycB1 is responsiple for the binding of the second amino acid Proline of the NRP.
It consists of the C- (condensation), A- (adenylation) and the PCP- (peptide-carrier-protein) domain. After Tyc B1 follows the TycB2 module of the TycB gene which has three modules.
This bio brick can be used for the design of different NRPS.
