Sequences BBa_K1266000_sequence (Version 1)

Description

Chitin deacetylase2 was isolated from S.cerevisiae. It removes acetyl groups from chitin. This is just the coding region without any promoter regions or RBS.

Notes

One illegal restriction site had to be removed from the coding sequence. This is the entire coding region. Some literature suggests that 140bps may be removed and still maintain protein function. This has not been verified in this particular part.
