Sequences BBa_K1460005_sequence (Version 1)

Description

This is a functional coding sequence for the putative lead and nickel transport protein CBP4 from Nicotiana tabacum. It has been found that expression of this protein leads to increased nickel tolerance and lead intolerance.

Notes

The Anderson promoter will provide strong constitutive expression of the CBP4 gene in E. coli.

Source

Anderson promoter is that of part BBa_J23102. CBP4 is a naturally found coding sequence in Nicotiana tabacum.[1] This part was synthesized by BioBasic and was transferred into pSB1C3 using standard cloning procedures.
