Description

This part contains two CDSs for expression in bacteria. The first is LuxR which is controlled by a constitutive left and a right promoter. The second is LacZ which is controlled by promoter with a LuxR recognition site. LuxR protein forms a complex with quorum sensing signalling molecule homoserine lactone, which then increases the rate of transcription. Therefore,in the presence of homoserine lactone, the LacZ reporter is expressed.

Notes

J61100 has two XbaI sites, so we cut J61100 with XbaI.

Source

We used promoter(R0062), RBS(J61100) and lacZ(I732006).
