Description

bxb1gp35 is a ser reombinase, which catalyzes site-specific recombination between Bxb1 attP and attB sites. When attP and attP sites are oppositely located, recombinase bxb1 can mediate an inversion betwen attB/P sites, forming attL/R sites. In SYSU-CHINA 2015, we use the optimized bxb1gp35 to catalyze the inversion of segments flanked by attB/P sites, creating a counter(Micro timer 2.0).

Notes
