Description

This is a coding sequence of C. parapsilosis mating pheromone receptor. Cells with this receptor being expressed react to the C. parapsilosis mating pheromone by the activation of the pheromone mating pathway.

The coding sequence was codon optimized for the expression in S. cerevisiae. C-terminal was replaced by a C-terminal from C. albicans for more efficient coupling to the mating pathway in S. cerevisiae.

Detailed description can be obtained from the iGEM 2015 Czech Republic wiki.

Notes

The coding sequence was codon optimized for the expression in S. cerevisiae. Kozak sequence was added before the start codon for a better translation. C-terminal was replaced by a C-terminal from C. albicans for more efficient coupling to the mating pathway in S. cerevisiae.

Source

The whole sequence was synthetized.
