Description

FecA is a protein that binds the ferric citrate and enabled a transduction pathway that leads to the expression of the fec operon.

We designed it to have a constitutive activity.

Notes

The original sequence contained 1 Pst1 site and required two mutations to obtain its constitutive activity.
