Description

This plasmid backbone is based on pMA-RQ from Geneart. It has BioBrick prefix and suffix flanked on both sides by 70 bp of homology to pTetFlp ([[Part:BBa_K260002|]]) for tranfer of the contained BioBrick part by recombineering, for which the BioBrick needs to be excised with PvuII from the backbone.

This plasmid backbone is available with BioBrick P_F3_zeoR_F3_RFP ([[Part:BBa_K260017|]]). The product of the above-described recombineering reaction [[Part:BBa_K260002|]]-[[Part:BBa_K260017|]] is also available.

Notes

The 2x 70 bp homologies were designed to allow "pseudo-cloning" of a BioBrick from the present backbone pMA-RQ-@TetFlp to pTetFlp [[Part:BBa_K260002|]] via recombineering using the PvuII fragment containing the BioBrick, where BioBrick prefix and suffix are kept untouched.
