Description

Cinnamoyl-CoA reductase 2 is found active during periods of stress in certain plants. It plays a key role in the biochemical conversion of cinnamoyl-CoA into Cinnamaldehyde. This intermediate part can be used in the course of creating a protein expression system.

Notes

Turn CCR2 from TAIR into a certified bio brick compatible part.

Source

The CCR2 gene comes from The Arabidopsis Information Resource (TAIR) cDNA repository. BBa_B0014, the double terminator, came from the iGEM 2009 Kit Plate 2 Distribution (well 24C)
