Description

This is a device that will test the recombination activity of Cre using a floxed RFP protein and variant lox sites. The cells should still glow red in the presence of Cre because the lox sites are not compatible.

Notes

I used a moderate promoter and a oligos I designed with three mutations in order to test the interaction between variant lox sites.
