Sequences BBa_K539732_sequence (Version 1)

Description

This is the coding sequence of kivd from Lactococcus lactis subsp. It encodes alpha-ketoisovalerate decarboxylase which is responsible for the decarboxylation into aldehydes of α-keto acids derived from amino acid transamination. This is part of the isobutanol biosynthesis pathway.
The rbs(BBa_B0030) and terminator are included.

Notes

This is an available coding sequence that can be placed at the end of the circuit.
We also made an similar biobrick that the different rbs is included.

Source

It is cloned form Lactococcus lactis subsp. lactis KF147
