Description

This is basic part which has a sequence containing the OmpA Transmembrane Domain, linked to the point mutant HPLC6 (Anti-freeze protein) gene.
This part cna be traslated to produce the Antifreeze protein on the outermembrane of the E.Coli. The function of this protein is to raise the Freezing Point.

Notes

A point mutation was necassary as the natural gene had the Pst1 restriction enzyme sequence in it.
