Description
The single mutation avoid the expression of the P1003 gene, that prevent the expression of a kanamycin resistance.This mutation is rescue with the tRNA amber suppressor supD (BBa_K914000), or any genotype relative to sup44 . The idea here is to prevent the kanamycin gene resistance in case horizontal gene transfer.
Actually it would be better with another mutation.
