Description

This is the entire bicistronic system that we used to create our genetic design. Ligninase is a protein used for lignin degradation by microbes and fungi. Manganese peroxidase is a necessary coenzyme for ligninase activity.

Notes

This design is codon optimized for expression in escherichia coli. We had some difficulty with synthesis of the repeats in the linker sequence and repeats in the BBa_B0034 terminator.
