Description
A bicistronic ribosome binding site of medium strength. The bicistronic RBS is made up of a strong RBS that drives the expression of a short cistron that contains a second RBS and controls the translation of the gene of interest (GOI). It is used to recruit ribosomes to start translation of a GOI. It includes the ATG start site.
Notes
Changes to the sequence were made to optimize C-G content and codons, and minimize repeats.
