Sequences BBa_M45212_sequence (Version 1)

Description

This DNA sequence is a native promoter region in Physcomitrella patens for a dehydrin protein. Dehydrin proteins are produced when drought stress or salt stress occurs within an organism. The exact mechanism of this promoter is not known, however it has been validated in the literature as a promoter region for a dehydrin protein in Physcomitrella patens.

Notes

The promoter was assumed to be the 1000 bp directly before the transcription start site of the dehydrin gene.
