Sequences BBa_M36154_sequence (Version 1)

Description

This sensor functions by responding to nitrogen. The NifRLA promoter induces the transcription factor NifA. NifA regulates transcription of the rest of the nif gene. In this case, NifA activates the NifHDK promoter, which will interact with our reporter.

Notes

In designing this part, we estimated the locations of the promoter sequences within the nif cluster. This may not be entirely accurate and may include extraneous sequences.

Source

The sequences in this part come from the genome of Azotobacter vinelandii.
